Two networks of drug traffickers were liquidated in Orleans

This is the result of several months of investigation by OFAST, the Orleans Judicial Police Narcotics Directorate. Two networks supplying the Orleans area with drugs were liquidated between October 29 and November 1.

Preparations from Spain and Belgium

The first case concerns two persons arrested on 27 October as part of a judicial investigation. They are suspected of supplying outlets in Orleans and its metropolis from Spain and Belgium. As a result of the searches, 87.4 kg of packaged cannabis resin, 429 grams of cocaine and 180,430 euros in cash were seized. Two of those arrested were charged with criminal association and drug trafficking. They were taken into custody.

Another case: on the night of October 31 to November 1, a vehicle registered in the Loire was intercepted, loading goods in the Bordeaux region, carrying 122 kg of cannabis (from Spain). During the searches, the police also seized 3 kg of grass and 5,000 euros in cash. In this case, 4 people were detained, 3 of whom were placed in a pre-trial detention center. They will be presented on December 5 at the Correctional Court of Orléans.
