Ubisoft is about to bring one of its best PC games to PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. Management lovers will be delighted!
If Ubisoft, unfortunately, has been giving us mostly bad news lately, in particular due to serious internal problems, this does not prevent the publisher from still having something to offer us. In addition to reassuring us that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is in development and giving us a list of 11 games currently in production, the firm is also announcing a new port, rather unexpected, of one of its greatest PC titles.
ANNO 1800 Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series
And the lucky winner is none other than ANNO 1800, the latest installment in the critically acclaimed management game franchise and very popular among gamers.
ANNO 1800 will release on PS5 and Xbox Series on March 16, 2023 and will include all content released to date on PC. Not proud of their game, Ubisoft also announced that there are now over 2.5 million players in the game. Very good performance which ensures a bright future for the license.
On PS5 and Xbox Series, ANNO 1800 will retain all of the mechanics that make it one of the best city building management games on the market. In several game modes, we will be asked to manage one or more regions, which will have to be built and developed from scratch. Economics, resource management, trade and politics are central to this experience. All served up with detailed art and polished graphics that shouldn’t work on home consoles.
In addition, ANNO 1800 on consoles will feature fully optimized menus and ergonomic joystick controls so players won’t get lost in the labyrinth of menus and submenus.
