Wear rate

Attrition rates are down again mainly for the fourth quarter of 2021 (October 1 to December 31). The opinion of September 27, 2021 regarding the application of articles L. 314-6 of the Consumer Code and L. 313-5-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code regarding usury was published in the Official Gazette of 28 of September 2021. Usury Interest rates for mortgage loans are especially lower by several basis points (up to 9 basis points, or 0.09%). This can raise concerns for people who want to borrow. With rising interest rates and falling usury rates, financing conditions will become increasingly difficult. Banks thus reject borrowers’ files, because this usury rate remains a protection for buyers. In the case of an insufficiently robust file, it is better not to borrow. The inevitable rise in interest rates could push the property market into a contraction in France, which has not happened in more than 20 years.
