Victim of a cyberattack, the production of the pharmaceutical group Pierre Fabre is at a standstill

“Part of the production activities” of Pierre Fabre has been at a standstill since Wednesday March 31 following a computer attack, according to France Blue Occitania. The management of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics group has confirmed this information and promises that the technical teams are “hard at work to restore the situation as quickly as possible”.

The company, which markets products under different brands such as A-Derma, Klorane, René Furterer …, has not yet officially communicated on this incident. At present, the company’s site is not functioning.

Product distribution would be affected

Management says “product distribution” was unaffected by the attack. An assertion contradicted by employees working at the Muret distribution center, in Haute-Garonne, cited by The world. “Following the computer incident, the activity is completely stopped.
