Volkswagen ID Buzz gets innovative driver assistance systems

The Volkswagen ID Buzz will come with a range of innovative driver assistance systems, including lane change assist that uses swarm data, it’s called Travel Assist. We have already seen a number of features that the car will come with.

There’s also Parking Assist Plus, which learns from your parking maneuvers and can then repeat them on its own.

The vehicle can perform a lane change on a motorway by briefly touching the turn signal lever. It can use swarm data or also learn repetitive parking maneuvers: Volkswagen ID. hum
is being implemented with new intelligent assistance systems that can make driving even more comfortable as well as enhance safety. This is in line with Volkswagen’s commitment to making the latest technology available to a wide customer base at an early stage.

“On ID. Buzz, iconic design is combined with innovative technology, which is reflected in new comfort and assistance systems. We are taking the next step towards highly automated driving using swarm data in the latest version of Travel Assist,” explains Kai Grunitz, Member of the Management Board of the Volkswagen Brand in charge of development. “This is in line with Volkswagen’s commitment to bringing cutting edge technology and innovation to as many models as possible.”
