Ubisoft announces that Far Cry 6 (FPS – Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, PC, Stadia – Ubisoft) is free to play until August 7 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia and PC via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.

QuakeCon

In two weeks, QuakeCon will return online with a host of events dedicated to the QuakeCon community and their favorite games. From August 18 to 20, QuakeCon fans can tune in to Discord and global streams featuring updates to existing and upcoming games, contests, tournaments, charity fundraisers, developer interviews, amazing Bethesda game promotions, and more.

The celebration kicks off June 18 at 6:15 pm PT with a QuakeCon pre-meeting, during which id Software’s Marty Stratton will kick off the main event at 7:00 pm PT with a short welcome message. Fans will then be able to tune in to a range of broadcasts from North America, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and elsewhere around the world. Game-focused streams will include existing and future titles such as Redfall, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Quake, and more. Prepare for special visits from developers and other personalities.

Update for Star Wars: The Old Republic

BioWare has officially released Deep Exploration, Update 7.1 for Star Wars: The Old Republic (RPG – PC, Mac – Bioware), which contains the new high-level Operation R-4 Anomaly, as well as the Manaan daily area. The update also brings new tactical items and improved gameplay through UI changes, including brand new customization options.
