White Xbox Elite 2 controller leaked online

Before Microsoft had a chance to officially unveil its new white Xbox Elite 2 controller, information was leaked from Nicolas Lugo, who posted a short video after apparently getting the new controller in the United States. Microsoft will attend the upcoming Gamescom game show later this month and possibly officially unveil the new white Xbox Elite 2 controller during it, though nothing has been confirmed yet.

By a strange coincidence, the white Xbox Elite 2 controller was uploaded to YouTube three weeks ago and was not noticed by Twitter users until recently. Unfortunately, the creator of the video did not say if they bought it from a store in the US or received it in some other way. As more information becomes available through leaks or officially from Microsoft, we’ll keep you posted as always.

Back in 2020, Microsoft was forced to extend the warranty on its original Xbox Elite 2 controller due to hardware issues, extending the warranty period from 90 days to 12 months from the date of purchase.

“Designed to meet the needs of modern gamers, the Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller offers over 30 new ways to play like a pro. Improve aiming with the new adjustable tension joysticks, shoot even faster with shorter trigger locks and stay on target with the rubber grip. Tailor the controller to your favorite playstyle with new interchangeable joysticks and paddles. Save up to 3 custom profiles and 1 default profile on the controller and switch between them on the fly using the Profile button. Use Xbox Wireless, Bluetooth, or the included USBC cable to play on your Xbox console and Windows devices.”
