Microsoft is wrapping up the week with the release of the Windows 11 Development Channel build. However, this time the release is just a small build designed to test Microsoft’s servicing pipelines. This means there’s nothing to look forward to once Cumulative Update 25163.1010 (KB5016904) hits Windows Update for you.

However, it has been a busy week for the Windows Insider Program. Earlier this week, Windows 10 Build 19044.1862 hit the Notification Settings Build Preview channel. This was later followed by beta channel builds 22621.436 and 22622.436, with Build 22622.436 improving nearby sharing and the ability to share local files on OneDrive. Microsoft then released Dev Channel build 25163, which is today’s release service. As a reminder, the biggest change in this release is the new taskbar overflow menu.

Ugh! We hope your computers are well rested after all the downloads! But don’t forget that Microsoft also has a Windows Insider Bug Bash in its beta channel, so don’t miss your chance to grab a shiny new badge in the Feedback Hub! Happy uploading, and don’t forget to check out OnPocast this weekend for Windows Insider events, Teams news, and more!
