Xbox Developers Conference Live: Full Announcement Review!

After a bleak 2022 and a complete absence from the Game Awards 2022, Xbox has realized its shortcomings and is kicking off the year with a new format called Developer_Direct. If you haven’t followed the conference, we’re summarizing the information you shouldn’t miss!

Minecraft Legends – Released April 18, 2023

Mojang Studios showed off a lot of the gameplay from Minecraft Legends, which will include a story campaign as well as a 2-team, 4-player mode. Here we will talk about the accumulation of maximum resources in order to build a base and attack the base of enemies.

Minecraft Legends is scheduled to release on April 18 on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5|4, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

Forza Motorsport Coming in 2023

Several gameplay footage was shown for the new Forza Motorsport, whose release date was conspicuous by its absence. Will the game be moved to the end of the year? It remains a mystery for the time being, but its release could be announced tomorrow during a special presentation.

The developers announced over 500 cars, 20 environments, over 800 enhancements and a new audio mix to support Dolby Atmos. Full details are available in our full What’s New article.

Forza Motorsport will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass and playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming (in beta).

Hi-Fi Rush – today!

This was the surprise of the evening, although we already mentioned the game earlier this week. Hi-Fi Rush is a new project from Tango Gameworks and it’s really a single player rhythm game where the fights will be interspersed with rock songs.

Hi-Fi Rush is available today for Xbox Series X|S and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom – Released June 20, 2023

ZeniMax Online Studios has unveiled the next major update for The Elder Scrolls Online called Necrom. She signs a return to Morrowind with a new playable class, the Enchanter.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom will be available on Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Mac on June 20, 2023.

Redfall – Released May 2, 2023

The Xbox conference concluded with a gameplay reveal of Redfall, the next Bethesda game developed by Arkane Austin. We’ve uncovered “Vampire Gods” as well as new customization details.

Redfall’s release is official on May 2nd for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
