Xbox Game Pass: Nuggets Land in January

In January, Microsoft will be adding some cool games to its Xbox Game Pass catalog and removing some cool games along the way.

A few days ago, we told you about three games that you can discover in January on Xbox Game Pass. Today, Microsoft officially returns with a list of new products of the month, and there are not many of them. Contrary to what we’re used to seeing, there are only 3 new games coming out in the second half of the month. Here is the complete list:

  • Persona 3 Portable (cloud, console, and PC) – January 19
  • Persona 4 Golden (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 19
  • Monster Hunter Rise (cloud, console, and PC) – January 20

At the moment, nothing tells us that Microsoft won’t be back with a new batch of games before the end of the month. However, you will have to be content with these three blockbusters in January. Monster Hunter Rise is the newest of them all. Released in 2021, the game has been a huge success not only in Japan but all over the world, and releases content updates regularly.

How to enjoy these games?

As a reminder, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service offered by Microsoft for Xbox and PC. It is available for €9.99 per month for Standard Access, which gives you access to a large library of games that is updated regularly. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for €12.99 also gives you access to the cloud, Xbox Live Gold and the EA Play game library.

As of January 15, Microsoft informs us that all of the games mentioned below will no longer be available. And with great sadness we will have to say goodbye to all these incredible hits. Game Pass shares a lot of nuggets, including We Happy Few, which is an editorial favorite. Here is the complete list:

  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc (Cloud, Console & PC)
  • No one will save the world (cloud, console and PC)
  • Pupperazzi (cloud, console and PC)
  • Anacrusis Preview (Cloud, Console & PC)
  • We Happy Few (Cloud, Console & PC)
  • Windjammers 2 (cloud, console and PC)
