Xbox Series S will get a performance boost

As we finally get to the real transition between Xbox One and the Xbox series, here are a few pieces of news that could make life easier for many developers.

Microsoft just gave some developers a new version of the Xbox Series S development kit, allowing studios using it to get more memory.

Discovered by The Verge, this software suite update gives developers an additional 100MB of memory to improve the graphics and performance of games running on it. A good way to silence the gossip about the possibilities of the more economical version of the Xbox Series X, sold for 200 euros less and, above all, available for sale, unlike its older sister, which faces an almost constant lack of stock.

It also means that apparently there is no plan for a new version just yet, and that Microsoft is still aiming to support its little white console for a few more months.
