If you’ve played a lot online, you probably know how this often ends. Someone has music playing in the background, another has someone talking on the phone, a third is breathing heavily into microphones, and a fourth is hampered by distortion as a result of using outdated equipment.
Thankfully, this shouldn’t be an issue on Xbox anymore, as Microsoft has released a new update that adds team chat noise suppression. This is now enabled by default and will “remove unwanted noise like gamepad clicks, breathing and background noise from your games.” If for some reason you still need all that noise, you can also bring it back by turning it off in Options > Parties & Chats.
This new update also includes a feature that allows your friends to join you online simply by viewing your screenshots and game clips. The only thing you need is the Internet and a browser on your computer or smartphone that allows you to immerse yourself in the action with using the Xbox Cloud. Games.
