Xbox will have things to show us this summer after E3

This week we learned two good news. After a cancellation following the Covid-19 in 2020, E3 will be back in a digital version from June 12. The Summer Game Fest will also make its comeback for the second consecutive year during the same period. Xbox is already on the list of participants at E3, but obviously, the firm will have great things to show us well after this event. In any case, this is what boss Phil Spencer indicates.

Big announcements at Xbox this summer?

A few hours after the announcement of the ESA (the Entertainment Software Association), the organizers of E3, Phil spencer expressed his joy at seeing the video game industry come together again. In his tweet, the man also makes it clear that Xbox will have something to satisfy fans this summer.

Glad to see the gaming industry come together again in June for a digital E3. This and other summer events are proof that our industry is stronger when we work together. Looking forward to sharing what we have in store this summer.

This week, Geoff Keighley lifted the veil on the second edition of the Summer Game Fest which will also be held in June. However, no partner has been listed yet, unlike E3 which already has many supporters including Xbox. We can therefore assume that Phil Spencer will participate in several events this summer, some of which have not yet been announced.

Between the news related to Game Pass, potential studio purchases, the presentation of new games for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, there is no doubt about the quality and quantity of things that the company has “in reserve”. Microsoft’s last speech was in the summer of 2020 with the Xbox Games Showcase, shortly before the launch of the new machines.
