YouTube TV has been going through a lot of changes lately. With the addition of several new channels, including The Weather Channel, and the introduction of pictureinpicture (PiP) for iOS devices, YouTube TV is now getting a feature designed for users who share their subscriptions with others in their households. It is high time. But now it’s finally here for users.
So now this will finally allow subscribers who use multiple accounts on their TV to switch between them on the fly. The new feature will roll out to accounts in stages, as YouTube recently confirmed.
YouTube TV subscribers can add as many new accounts as they want to make family sharing easier. This newly added feature will help YouTube users on devices other than Android/Google TV as the original app already has a toggle that does the same thing you may know.
The streaming service offers a lot. Live, ondemand and cloud DVR from over 85 TV networks, YouTube TV is available in the US for just $65. It was created as an alternative to traditional live TV services, and now it looks even more attractive in a world where smart TVs have become the norm these days.
