PlayStation Direct currently has the PS5 in stock. As with most PlayStation Direct restocks, you’re waiting in line. You’ll get an estimated lead time, and if the consoles are still in stock when you’re at the front of the line, you’ll be able to buy them at the retail price. If you miss this refill, GameStop will be offering PS5 Bundles available in stores tomorrow, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th.
You’re still unlikely to find a PS5 on store shelves and most major retailers sell PS5s, but things are starting to repeat what we’ve seen with the Xbox Series X. First, consoles aren’t selling in minutes anymore. , they almost always become available from at least one major retailer. We’re cautiously optimistic that the concept of PS5 restocking may soon be a thing of the past.
For now, we’re continuing to track PS5 restocking at major retailers, so if you’re still looking for it, we’ll update this post as soon as we see it becomes available.
