This morning, the inhabitants of the town of Annone in the Ardèche witnessed an amazing scene. Dupont, obviously drunk, mistook his wife for a fox and tried to chase her through the streets of the city.
Fortunately, the gendarmes from the Annonet brigade were present and quickly arrested M. Dupont before he could harm his wife or fox. Constable Rigobert Tutu, who witnessed the scene, said: “Mr. Dupont looked completely disoriented and did not understand why his wife had not allowed herself to be caught. We had to explain to him several times that it was his wife and not a fox.”
Fortunately, neither Mr. Dupont’s wife nor the fox were harmed during this amazing event. Mr. Dupont has been taken into custody for drunkenness in a public place and will be subpoenaed to answer for his actions.
In conclusion, this incident once again shows the dangers of alcohol and reminds us of the importance of not driving while intoxicated.
