But that doesn’t seem to have had much of an effect on Elon Musk. Faced with this threat launched by Apple and Google, the Tesla boss simply stated that he was going to launch his own smartphone brand. “I really hope we don’t get to that, but yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone,” Elon Musk wrote on Twitter in response to Liz Wheeler’s post on this topic.
