Musk’s revelations: the US president is not coping with the crisis

Once again since acquiring Twitter, Elon Musk has delivered an impressive performance. Promising nothing less than inflammatory revelations about Hunter Biden and his father.

So the earth was shaking? Wet firecrackers usually don’t have this effect. Does that mean the whole staging is irrelevant? Absolutely not.

Joe Biden and transparency

The only mention of the president’s son is enough for the fierce opponents of the current president to fall into a trance.

In their world, the son’s personal and professional failures discredit the entire current administration and erase all the meanness of Donald Trump at once. The equivalent of pixie powder sold by Fox News hucksters.

If the file does not have a magical property, then it must be admitted that the 46th president disposes very badly of everything that directly or indirectly concerns his son. Several media and social networks also have to plead guilty.

  • Listen to Luc Laliberte’s editorial broadcast live every day at 13:43 on QUB radio:

The New York Times did this a while ago, and we already knew that the Joe Biden campaign had meddled with Twitter leadership to take down some posts (which the Republicans do too), in particular nudes.

True, we first had to verify the information contained in the now-famous laptop forgotten by Biden’s son at a repair shop, but we had to acknowledge the accuracy of the information first leaked by the New York Post earlier.

For those who think that I also neglected this story, let me remind you that I spoke about it several times, here, here, here and again here.

The president should be more transparent about all this. Everything smells bad, and everything that lies around becomes dirty. These are the stories that emerge from the Washington swamp.

Interpretation of the First Amendment

In one of his tirades condemning the behavior of the former managers of his social network, Elon Musk said that by speaking favorably of the Biden camp, they violated the First Amendment to the Constitution.

If Musk is a genius, his knowledge of the founding document is especially limited. In his opinion, this restriction of freedom of speech is the result of state intervention in the decision-making process in the social network, the worst interference of its kind in modern history!

I think it’s appropriate to remind Musk that Twitter is a private company and that she herself made the decision to remove the tweets. Moreover, Joe Biden was not president at the time of the alleged interventions, and the leadership of the Democratic Party should by no means be confused with the government.

The First Amendment protected Twitter, and still does, just as it protects what has been called “Twitter files” for two days now,” according to a dossier Musk gave to freelance journalist Matt Taibbi.
