New Volkswagen ID.3 teased in sketches

Volkswagen has revealed that they will be introducing the new Volkswagen ID.3 next spring, and the company has released several sketches of the vehicle. The original car went on sale in the UK back in 2020.

The new ID.3 will receive a number of design changes over the current model, as well as some new features, upgraded technologies and more.

This spring, Volkswagen will introduce the new ID.3 to the public. The second generation ID.3 should be the last chapter in the ID. family success story: To date, over half a million ID cards. models built around the Electric Drive Modular Matrix (MEB) have been delivered to customers around the world. The ID.3 is currently produced at the Zwickau and Dresden factories in Germany. However, next year the production network will be expanded to include the main Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg. This is to meet the high level of consumer demand for an allelectric compact car.

“The new ID.3 demonstrates our commitment to quality, design and sustainability. The design has matured and we have improved the materials used in the interior,” says Imelda Labbe, Member of the Volkswagen Board of Directors for Sales, Marketing and Aftersales. When creating the updated version, the development team took into account a number of suggestions from customers in order to improve the product and expand the standard equipment package: “The needs of our customers are always at the center of our attention. That’s why we listen carefully and focus on making sure our product portfolio meets their requirements,” adds Labbé.
