Twitter will work on monetization tools and “Twitter Coin”. App researchers Nima Ouji and Jane Manchun Wong opened up the “Coins” section in the hidden “Tips” settings on Twitter. Elon Musk has previously hinted at the introduction of Dogecoin (DOGE) for payments on Twitter.

However, it is not clear if Dogecoin or other coins will be used for Twitter coins. The price of Dogecoin jumped almost 6% after the news, hitting a high of $0.111.

Jane Manchun Wong also provided instructions on how to enable this feature and test the changes. Also, the code does not clearly state what “Twitter Tips” and “Twitter Coin” are, or if they are related to Elon Musk’s favorite meme coin, DOGE.
“There is no indication in the code what ‘tweet hints’ and ‘ twitter coin’ are, let alone whether they are related to DOGE meme coins.”
Is Elon Musk really working on a Twitter currency?

Elon Musk is working to get back some accounts banned by Twitter. Over the past week, Musk has unblocked a dozen Dogecoin Twitter accounts. He also remained bullish on Dogecoin saying “Dogecoin to the Moon”.
The price of Dogecoin, after rising by 6% in one hour, fell to $0.1062. The price of DOGE is up almost 3% in the last 24 hours and 13% in a week.
